About the Role
Ramp is in a critical phase of growth – join our Growth team to write, send, analyze, and manage email campaigns across our entire customer acquisition, activation, and retention funnels. As an early member of Ramp’s Growth team (reporting into our Product organization), you will work closely with cross-functional members of our Product Marketing, Product Management, and Content & Communications teams as both a strategic partner and executional support to move numbers up and to the right.
What You’ll Do

Write net-new emails to drive conversion (prospects into Ramp customers), activation (new Ramp customers into activated spenders), retention, and expansion (single-product customers into multi-product)

Implement and update emails, campaigns, and workflows in Hubspot

Own the feedback loop of testing new copy, creatives, sequences, and timing – analyzing the results and sharing the learnings with our broader Growth, Marketing, Product, and Design teams

Edit copy and campaigns written by other teams before being pushed to production

Enable and empower our Product organization to scale to millions of cardholders by optimizing sequences and touch points for clarity and education
What You Need

Minimum 3 years of experience in growth or lifecycle marketing, with an emphasis on email program management

Strong, hands-on Hubspot experience – knowledge of CRM & email systems, attribution models, and lead scoring

Strong analytical background with an exceptional ability to draw key insights from both quantitative and qualitative data

Experience owning a numerical goal and driving experiments / campaigns in order to achieve that goal

Experience in a cross-functional writing or growth role, specifically working between product marketing, analytics, design, brand, and product teams

Critical lens for audiences and the ability to quickly and accurately turn generalized insights to actions
Nice-to-Haves

Editorial or writing experience, whether in-house or actually writing a newsletter yourself

Experience at high growth startups and/or email marketing agencies

HTML and CSS background, specifically within email marketing best practices

Familiarity with SQL and database analysis
Compensation

The annual salary/OTE range for the target level for this role is $127,500-$150,000 + target equity + benefits (including medical, dental, vision, and 401(k)
