Childcare and Preschool Teacher
Athena Coding is a non-profit organization serving children ages 2 to 6 years old. We are currently seeking a full-time Tutee to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and an interest in furthering their education. The candidate must also be able to pass a background check, drug screening, and have reliable transportation. The candidate must also be willing to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.

We are looking for a Childcare Teacher who will engage with and encourage the children to learn and grow. The goal is to contribute to the healthy mental and emotional development of the children so that they can be more easily controlled and easily reached.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Communicating with parents on behalf of the children
• Creating fun educational games for the children to play with their friends, like Spiderman or Dots and Dots. Spreading out paper on the floor or using crayons to draw is a great way to get the children moving!
• Encourage children to interact with each other by sharing stories, playing games, etc.
• Organize nap times, meals, and other activities as needed.

Experience: Childcare Education Experience: 1 year (Preferred)

Job Types: Part-time, Contract, Temporary

Pay: $50.00 - $60.00 per hour
