Summary:

  • VOX DJs Booking Representative’s main responsibility is to provide exceptional customer service to VOX DJs clients by sending quotes, executing contracts, and collecting payments on a daily basis.
  • Booking Representative needs to be Self-Motivated with a drive to grow the overall revenue of VOX DJs.
  • Booking Representative will work as a cohesive team member within the day to day operation of the VOX DJs internal booking team process.

  • Very well spoken in verbal and written communication
  • A sense of urgency in response time regarding VOX DJs Clients, Business Associates, and Events
  • A willingness to represent and develop the VOX DJs brand as an unofficial Brand Ambassador
  • Patience and willingness to work with, lead, and respond to VOX DJs Team Members.
  • A humble work attitude and willingness to learn and develop.
  • Professional attitude and work demeanor with VOX DJs clients at all times.

Primary Sales Responsibilities:

  • Being a part of the weekly Booking Team Schedule and work as a team
  • Meet sales individual sales goals
  • Responding to Sales Leads via Email, Phone, Zoom and Text Message in a timely manner
  • Listen to client needs and vision to properly quote the ideal and correct VOX DJs packages
  • Collect payments
  • Confirm events officially with signed contracts and retainer payments
  • Assigning the correct DJs to the correct events based on availability and client needs
  • Assisting with DJ scheduling and coordinating events with DJs.
  • Maintain a general awareness of company profit margins and costs of operation

Business Development:

  • Attending at least 1 Networking / Industry Events or Seminars either In Person or Virtually per month is encouraged but not required.
  • Pays attention to industry trends based on requests from clients/vendors and social media. Offer insight to team based on what they are seeing and hearing through these mediums.
  • Works with Booking Team to Generate Business opportunities through:
    • Venue Visits
    • Meetings with Event Planners, Vendors, Venues and potential clients.
    • Email, Phone Calls, and Text Message follow ups
    • Cold calling new clients.
  • Helps to keep Booking Team up to date on venue data and information.
  • Distributes information to specific Sales Reps for Client Follow up.

VOX DJs, Inc. Organizational Chart:

  • The Booking Representative will report directly to the Booking Team Manager as their primary supervisor.

  • The Booking Representative may consult with VOX DJs CEO and VOX DJs COO for applicable questions and also advising on overall company direction.


Acceptable Office Attire:

  • Normal Day to Day: Casual Attire

  • For Days with Client / partner Meetings: Smart Casual to Semi-Formal

  • For Events: Semi-Formal to Formal


VOX DJs Employment Terms/ Compensation:

  • Part Time or Full Time

    • Weekly Bonus Structure / Weekly Commission Based Sales Program (Eligible after 90 day probation period)

  • For Full Time:

    • Health Insurance (Eligible after 90 day probation period)

    • Laptop Computer will be provided

    • Cell Phone will be provided

    • Paid Time Off (See Handbook)
