Description

As a Principal Food Service Worker, you will play a key role in delivering outstanding customer service to our patients. You will perform a variety of duties in the assembly, delivery, and service of patient meals in our Ronald Reagan hospital. Responsibilities include: * Present menus to patients and assist them with menu selections as needed. * Assemble meal trays accurately and presentable. * Distribute menus according to diet master list. * Collect trays after each meal. * Prepare and deliver snacks to patients. This is a career full-time position eligible for benefits (medical coverage, paid time off, retirement, and more). Salary Range: $18.90-23.02 Hourly

Qualifications

Required: * Knowledge of general and nutrient modified diets; experience in food service. * Ability to follow standardized recipes. * Ability to work in standing position for a long period of time; stretch, bend, walk, stoop, and reach repetitively in hot, cold, and/or wet areas. * Ability to lift 40 pounds, and pull/push up to 350 pounds. * Ability to practice safe food handling techniques. * Able to read and write standard English. * Ability to perform basic arithmetic. * Must have the ability to adjust to fluctuating work load and adhere to production schedules. * Interpersonal skills to interact effectively with co-workers, customers, supervisors and managers.
