Flight on Cherry is a, licensed medical marijuana (MMJ) dispensary, in Long Beach, CA. Our goal is to provide the best experience to our cannabis patients through great customer service and our knowledge of cannabis.

We are seeking talented individuals who want to help us grow in this industry and have a professional, but fun, demeanor. Applicants must have exceptional customer service skills and experience within the cannabis industry. This position is for an Inventory Clerk, that will assist the Inventory Manager in the day to day of our cannabis products.

JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Maintain compliance of the California State laws and regulations
• Listen compassionately to patients with the intent to understand their needs and make product recommendations according to their symptoms.
• Provide exceptional, professional, customer service – going the extra mile is the norm.
• Stay educated and updated on different types of marijuana products and methods of medicating.
• Accurately and precisely enter patient information into our database system.
• Quickly and precisely handle cash and credit transactions while always maintaining a balanced cash drawer.
• Work with or Inventory Manager in a number of job duties.
• Weekly Inventory
• Checking new inventory
• Working with Vendors & Managment to make sure products meet Flights standards.
• Clean, stock, and organize inventory room and show cases..
• Conduct accurate inventory counts of all dispensary products.
• Work cohesively as part of family/team environment.
• Work on special projects and assignments designated by management.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Must be over 21 years of age
• Must have reliable transportation
• Must be willing to work nights and weekends with limited or no schedule restrictions
• Demonstrate extremely strong verbal and written skills (bilingual a plus)
• Possess basic math skills
• Ability to follow precise rules and directions to maintain compliance
• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form
• Must be able to perform various physical requirements —while performing the duties of this position you may be required to reach with hands and arms, speak and hear, stand, walk, sit and use hands to type, write and handle equipment and containers. You may also be required to stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; occasionally lift and/or move objects of 50 pounds or less.
