Medical Billing Accounts Receivable Specialist

 

Job Description

Work Experience Required: 3+ years accounts receivable work including AR and denial management.

Manage assigned division(s) of large group client as part of a team. Duties may include:

• Supervise claims and payment entry process; check work, make corrections, provide feedback and training as required
• Manage all rejections and accounts receivable follow-up. This is your key role.
• Coordinate information flow with client and our staff
• Answer patient billing questions

We are looking for experience in the following specialties (though not required):

• Cardiology

We are also looking for experience in the following billing systems (though not required):

• Health Fusion

Location:

Work can be done in a suitable home office. 90% of our employees have been remote for over 4 years. We are only interested in candidates who can prove they are self-motivated and self-managed with attention to detail (please read instructions below). We expect you to come to us with almost all the technical expertise needed to get started. New hires generally need about 5-10 days of onsite or remote training to learn the billing system and our processes before working on their own. We leverage tutorials and screen sharing for ongoing assistance.

Background Check:

We require at least two personal reference checks from your two most recent employers. If one of those references is not your current employer then we will conduct a reference check after you accept our offer. Background checks and drug screenings may apply as per your state regulations.
