Remote - Commercial Lines Account Representative/CSR - Work From Home [United States]


 

GrayStone Insurance Group is looking for self-motivated people that can work from home efficiently and professionally.

Position Summary: Responsible for assisting producers and clients in maintaining insurance coverage for commercial lines of insurance to include processing and invoicing policies, endorsements, audits, certificates, and cancellations.

Essential Tasks:

  • Issue Certificates of Insurance
  • Working with clients to fill out necessary applications to market the accounts
  • Market New and Renewal submissions to carriers
  • Prepare endorsement requests to send to insurance carriers
  • Follow-up for receipt of endorsements to existing policies
  • Processing endorsements, including invoicing and delivery to client
  • Processing of audits, including verification of rates, exposures, and prior premiums
  • Handling/processing of cancellations and billing issues
  • Communication with staff and clients as needed to gather needed information for changes to policies
  • Knowledge of and adherence to, agency procedures
  • Establish and maintain relationships with both internal and external clients

Non-essential Tasks:

  • Maintain and Update client files accurately and consistently.
  • Process Incoming Mail/Email

  • Computer skills including agency management system and Windows Office products
  • Team player with a positive approach to co-workers
  • Highly motivated, self-starter who works independently to accomplish established agency goals

  • Accountable for own actions and delivers on commitments
  • Commitment to continuous learning

Experience and Education

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Property and Casualty license
  • Minimum two (3) years’ experience in property and casualty servicing required
  • Good communication skills
  • Proficiency with personal computers and multi-tasking skills
  • CISR designation or equivalent will increase starting salary

To be eligible for this role you MUST:

  • Have at minimum 50 to 100 mbps download and at least 10mbps upload internet speed as validated by Ookla.com and/or FAST.com
  • Ability to hardwire (ethernet) direct to your home router during your at home employment
  • Router must be within close vicinity of your quiet, at home workspace

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
