A position is available immediately for a motivated research technician to assist in Dr. Quadrato’s lab. Dr. Quadrato’s research is focusing on understanding the cellular and molecular basis of human brain development and disease. By combining the use of emerging models of the human brain with single cell omics approaches, we are aiming to identify cell type specific disease mechanisms, and above all, new treatments for human neurodevelopmental disorders. Duties will include:

Organoid culture, cloning, bioinformatic analyses, embryo collection, collection of

tissues for: frozen sections, in situ hybridization and immunohistochemistry and

cell culture, microscopy and computer cataloguing of data as needed.

Preferred Education requirement:

Master’s background in stem cell biology or molecular biology.

Research experience on developmental organ system or organoid model.

The annual base salary range for this position is $42,598 - $55,889 (non-exempt).
