POSITION SUMMARY:
This role involves the construction, installation, and resolution of issues with electronic and electrical systems, as well as the completion of routine maintenance tasks.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Identify and resolve issues with circuits and wiring.
Utilize various testing equipment like oscilloscopes, voltmeters, ammeters, wattmeter’s, etc.
Rectify malfunctions in machinery and equipment.
Efficiently install and activate new equipment.
Carry out general maintenance activities involving hydraulics, pneumatics, welding, steam, and electrical systems.
Exhibit physical effort as required for job duties, including elevated physical capabilities.
Promote professionalism among colleagues and both internal and external customers.
Adhere to safety measures and practices, including 5S+ safety guidelines.
OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES:
Collaborate with the Maintenance High-Performance Team to identify improvement opportunities.
Participate in project teams, star point teams, and kaizen events as necessary.
Attend and complete all required training opportunities for professional development.

REPORTING AND COLLABORATION:
Directly report to the Facilities Specialist.
Work closely with other departments to resolve process and equipment-related issues.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
The employee may encounter:
Elevated noise levels from operating machinery and equipment.
Physical hazards from operating machinery and moving reels.
Exposure to nuisance fumes and dust particles.
Work in areas where safety equipment such as steel toe shoes, eye protection, hearing protection, and high visibility clothing will be necessary.
Extended standing is required, along with regular walking, pushing, pulling, reaching, bending, turning, twisting, squatting, and lifting.
Manual dexterity is essential, even under restrictive conditions.
Flexibility in working hours and short notice for overtime may be required.
The employee may also receive additional instructions and perform other duties as requested, in compliance with applicable state and federal laws.
