TRUCK DISPATCHER
RESPONSIBILITIES

• Pre book over the road operations .
• Book and enter loads into TMS for operations to plan and dispatch
• Problem solve with customer when loads and/or drivers have issues
• Continual updates on load details and ETA’s
• Update customers on delays, equipment issues and paperwork
• Monitor the drivers location

We’re currently seeking a sharp DISPATCHER who has experience with dispatching Flat beds, Reefers and dryvan Loads.

Our drivers are normally out for 2 weeks and home for 3 days.

You must be reliable and have good communication skills.

You must be familiar with how to use load boards, complete Carrier Broker Agreements,understand basic trucking terminology, be very prompt & fast, and communicate with drivers and brokers in a timely manner.

Lastly, You must be comfortable with taking appropriate action with little supervision.

Qualifications:

• 1+ years of experience as a DISPATCHER
• 1+ years of experience Using DAT load board
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience in data entry
• Good multitasking abilities
• Able to work under pressure
• Able to keep emotions in check and remain professional
• Good verbal communication skills and able to speak English fluently. Bi-lingual is a plus
• Strong problem resolution skills
• Strong organizational skills skills
• Have a solid understanding of the trucking industry

Job Type: Flexible (part time and full time options)Salary: $800 - $1,700.00 per week

Work Location: Indianapolis, IN

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract

Pay: $2,500.00 - $4,500.00 per month

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday

Supplemental pay types:

• Bonus pay
• Commission pay

Experience:

• DAT Loadboard: 1 year (Preferred)
• Truckstop Loadboard: 1 year (Preferred)
• Semi Truck Dispatching: 1 year (Preferred)
• working for a trucking company: 1 year (Preferred)
